god, so much has happened since we last talked. steve’s room flooded and he moved out. i went to amherst, then providence, then switzerland, etc. very time consuming. fixing up my room.

i’m in switzerland now. in my old room, with my old guitar. i promised myself i wouldn’t work on songs while i ‘m here, but gott knows it’s hard. i wish i had brought my own machine instead of this shit i’m using. haven’t gotten to do what i came to switzerland to do. read an article today by stan brakhage. was ok. discovered a new bar/café that is great…though the clientele is stodgy. strange because the bar is so hip. i’ve been making plans to shoot the rest of my super8 film so i can send it off to a lab which is, strangely enough, in switzerland anyway. i got my photo taken

Still in New York. Real boring. should be heading to Amherst tomorrow. Steve and I will toil away with the recording for five days straight. Then I’ll come back to NYC for a few days.

I have a flight to Switzerland on the 11th. Be back on the 18th.
