can’t work on lyrics ’cause i’m not in the state to do so

listened to the small faces record this morning. sucked. that singer really sounds like rod stewart though. which isn’t bad because i like stewart. its really ironic that it would sound like him since he was in a later incarnation of this same band. weird. the record itself not so hot. a lot of gimmicky “psychedelic” stuff that sounds more goofy in the vane of the who or something and less like the quality weird of barrett or the pretties. not even carnivalesque stuff, just goofy with voiceovers and weird gnome-speak. **1/2

been going through quite a phase with the pretty things lately. really love their “emotions” record. “sf sorrow” has its moments too. Can’t figure out much about “parachutes” and why anyone would think it’s so good.

fripp sucks. i’m gonna have a copy of exposure soon. but i’ve already heard the mp3s and its not that listenable. the first $2.00 + $4.00 s/h gets it. come and get her: five stars by some dork on epinions. and allmusic really likes her as well.

i’m looking for a specific guitar called a texan. it’s made by framus. i already got one in switzerland, but it’s not a texan, just a framus. and that don’t sell no cigars; really like to get that texan i would.

i don’t want the twelve-string version either. got to be 6-string. hard to find i tell you. most of them probably got crushed or are in basements and i saw a great one in a store in sprinfield but it was 179.99. christ!
